Abstract:
The article includes a review of macroeconomic and industry-specific factors that affect the formation of economic indices and business climate in the field of the retail trade in 2014 – beginning of 2015. The main directions of the Strategy of the trade development in Russia up to 2020 are under consideration, these directions include the decrease of administrative barriers, stimulating entrepreneurial initiative, balanced development of the multi-format trade infrastructure and the competition in the industry.
