The measures to support food supply security in the regions of Russia, the impact of the prohibition on food products import which has been introduced in the Russian regions are considered in the article. The possibility to support Russian manufacturers through «tax breaks» is analyzed. The author also appraises the possibility to increase the consumption assurance level for the poor people by means of ration cards.
