Abstract:

One of injury type in legislation which could be inflicted to individual is moral injury, i.e. suffering caused by different wrong acts (failure to act). Russian legislation foresees recovering payments of financial compensation for inflicted moral injury. However courts extremely unwillingly apply norms about its compensation in field of consumer right protection. That does not correspond to world practice and to real state of things in specific situation (degree of citizen suffering).
