Abstract:

The article discusses the problems associated with the labor of convicts. The presence of the production base of the penal system and the contingent, which in her can and should be employed in-volves the selection of a specific segment of the labor market - the local labor market of the penal system. The study of this segment, features that distinguish it from other labor markets, the author's opinion, will allow the public and penal institutions to more effectively address law enforcement, social, educational, educational challenges facing them.
