Abstract:

The article provides the analysis of stability of the banking system of the Russian Federation. Basing on the official statistical data published by the Bank of Russia stability of the banking system and its sensibility to local economic crises are assessed. The author analyzes the normative-legal acts regulating the activity of credit organizations and the significant changes which they have undergone. The conducted research resulted in development of measures intended to improve stability of the banking system in Russia.
