The article discusses the problem of the impact of the environmental conditions on people’s health. Health of the nation is the essential component of economic growth. Today, the attention paid to it at the governmental level is insufficient. The writer argues that the new model must be founded on the concept of health care as a real sector of national economy, a whole industry of health.
