Abstract:

The article outlines the main problems of both objective and subjective origin that affect economic sustainability of economic entities in oil and gas industry. Among these problems there is the high volatility of energy prices. The writer holds the opinion that economic stability of oil and gas companies can be sustained due to application of diversification strategies.
