The paper studies the new approaches to business organization in construction industry, which are based on application of standards uniting such notions as environmentalism, economy, and social responsibility. The most widely spread international certification systems are characterized along with the Green Standards Russian Voluntary Certification System. Advantages of applying Green Standards to the Russian economy are demonstrated.
