Abstract:

The paper investigates the recent developments in consumer cooperation of Volga Federal District in retail trade, public catering, harvesting and storing agricultural produce and raw materials, manufacturing of goods, and providing services. The writers hold the notion that consumer cooperation has sufficient prospects for development and increasing efficiency in Volga Federal District, as well as in Russia on the whole.
