Agriculture, which has always been the primary industry of the Azerbaijan economy, plays an important role in the development of the country and providing the population with necessary goods. In order to raise the agricultural production at a competitive level, the writer suggests that the state should provide an overall support for it. An important role should be played by direct and indirect regulatory effects on pricing in the industry.
