Abstract:

Continuing development of RZD OJSC in the direction of the target model of the holding structure requires a rethinking of the role of accounting and information management in this process. The article gives a theoretically grounded author’s view on the essence of information and makes an attempt to construct an optimal accounting and information model for RZD.
