The article deals with goals, basic principles, methods, and sequence of restructuring companies belonging to the investment and building sector. Restructuring is considered as the basic mechanism of stabilizing companies’ operation in the context of financial and economic recession. The author substantiates organizational arrangements, the combination of which should provide for efficient implementation of transformations associated with restructuring.
