Abstract:

The article examines the situation in the Archangelsk region, which is a region of raw materials and a producer of pulp and paper products. At the same time, small business in the region is underdeveloped and does not supply its social and economic needs. According to the author, creating a favorable environment for the small business development in the industrial sphere and interaction of small business with large enterprises, could significantly improve the region’s competitiveness and investment attractiveness.
