At the stage of modernizing the Russian economy, the role of industrial policy in the process of improving the competitiveness of domestic products increases significantly. Underestimation of the role of municipalities in the implementation of industrial policy leads to a decrease in the function of the local response to the failures of macroeconomic nature. Formation of a complex system of interaction between the local government, independent organizations and industrial enterprises will increase the efficiency of support for small business through the strengthening of information and financial flows.
