Using the index of real estate profitability the author compares efficiency of investing a large sum of money in a bank and buying an apartment with the purpose to let it. As in the crisis conditions such market index as liquidity declines, the author regards that using the right approach and properly selected time of purchase investing in the real estate is fully justified.
