Abstract:

The article examines a model of territorial development of Russian regions in terms of their specialization. The author analyzes scenarios for the future development of the national and regional economies. He draws a conclusion that the nature management and environmental protection in the Eastern macroregion (which is the main fuel and energy source of the country) should be based on a combination of administrative and market management.
