The article explores the possibility of using credit scoring systems for the management of problem assets of a commercial bank. The author gives a classification of different types of scoring and determines the most relevant types in the crisis conditions. He also considers the possibility of applying the scoring for the securitization of distressed assets portfolios and identifies possible trends in the further application of scoring systems.
