Abstract:

This study analyzed the impact of energy efficiency indicators on the shareholder value of companies, in particular, in the oil industry. The calculation of indicators of shareholder value of the main players of the industry is conducted. The technique is allocated; and the author's indexes and indicators of energy efficiency are offered. By means of the empirical analysis the factor model characterizing interrelation of the indicators offered by authors has been constructed. The final index was calculated for benchmarking and monitoring effectiveness of the events' carried out by Russian oil companies.
