Abstract:

The foreign and domestic experience and prospects of development of forms of management in agriculture are analyzed. The main directions of development of the agricultural sector of Russia are defined. The analysis of dynamics of structure of production of agriculture for categories of farms in the Russian Federation for 1990-2018 is given. It has been determined that the rational development of agriculture is provided only by those forms of management that take into account the socio-economic and geophysical specifics of agriculture, especially agricultural labor and management methods. In Russia, the most common forms of management are agricultural organizations, peasant farms and private farms. The analysis of the foreign experience of the agricultural sector allowed to determine that the strengthening of the competitiveness of domestic agricultural products in the context of globalization is possible on the basis of the development of both large agricultural organizations and agricultural cooperation of small farms.
