Abstract:

Small innovative entrepreneurship makes a significant contribution to the development of innovative economy and thus ensures the dynamic development of the country. The main condition for achieving competitive advantages is the presence of a small innovative enterprise competent, balanced and adequate to external conditions strategy of development. The article systematizes the existing approaches to the definition of "small innovative enterprise" and proposes the criteria for classifying a small enterprise as innovative. Research of innovative activity and problems of development of the small innovative enterprises of an industrial complex of Russia is carried out. The result of the study is the development of conceptual foundations of the development strategy of small innovative enterprises.
