In article the short analysis of the market of insurance of crops is carried out; by means of criteria of dynamics of volume of the insured areas, the size of the paid insurance premium the trend of its movement is revealed. The algorithm of calculation of market capacity of agroinsurance in the Republic of Bashkortostan with use of data of monitoring of the actual sales prices of agricultural products, statistical information on dynamics of the areas and productivity of sowing cultures is offered. By calculations the actual sum of potentially possible insurance premium as resultant indicator of capacity is removed.
