Abstract:

The study of the dynamics of housing construction in the region as the most important indicator of the socio-economic development of the country. The purpose of the study is to assess the current situation in the industry and its future development prospects. The object of the research is housing construction in the Penza region as a link in the socio-economic system of the Privolzhskiy federal district. The subject of the research is the level of development of the construction industry in the Penza region. The main indicators of housing development were identified and analyzed using the methods most adapted to the region: sampling, grouping, comparison, synthesis, economic and mathematical modeling, system analysis, systematization method, interval estimation, qualimetric approach, SWOT analysis. Using SWOT-analysis, positive and negative aspects of external and internal factors affecting the development of the residential real estate segment are highlighted. The results obtained in the course of the study allow us to identify priority strategies aimed at improving the effectiveness of the socio-economic mechanism for the development of the housing market and attracting investment to the region.
