Abstract:

Technological development is an important condition for improving the efficiency of the trade industry and economic entities in trade. The article presents the results of the analysis of individual components of the technological development of trade in the regions of the Central federal district, namely the development of network trade, modern trade formats and Internet trade. The technique of the complex analysis of technological development of trade of the region, assuming calculation of two indicators – coefficient of level of technological development of trade of the region and coefficient of speed of technological development of trade of the region, is offered. On the basis of the proposed method, the general and particular coefficients of technological development of trade in the regions of the Central Federal district are calculated, the regions leading and lagging in the technological development of trade are identified. The presented results can be used in monitoring the state and development of trade in the regions of Russia, in the framework of state regional management, as well as in the development of regional strategies by individual economic entities.
