Abstract:

Labor productivity is one of the most important indicators of economic development. The development of ways to improve it requires the organization of continuous monitoring and comparative analysis of labor productivity at the regional level, industries and enterprises. Differences in methodological approaches, differentiation of levels of detail of indicators used in the characterization and analysis of labor productivity, necessitates a deep study of the theoretical and socio-economic bases of measurement and evaluation of labor productivity, methodological principles of formation of labor costs in the industry. Clarification of the method of calculation of indicators of labor productivity, due to the peculiarities of agricultural production. All these issues are highlighted in the article.
