Abstract:
The organization of goods supply effective system in the Russian FMCG market is characterized by an increasing level of influence on this process of large retail chains. The growth of the market power of retail chains is also evident in the process of negotiations with FMCG suppliers. It is not uncommon for retailers to abuse their market power by imposing unfavorable conditions for suppliers to supply goods to this sales channel. The article presents a retrospective and prospective review of the ways to transform the system of relations between FMCG suppliers and retail chains in Russia against the background of the amendments to the law on trade. The main directions of improving the processes of interaction between suppliers of goods and large retail chains in the near future are substantiated. The main factors of increasing the role of self-regulation of the consumer market in Russia.
