    Abstract:
    We consider theoretical and practical issues of value based management of oil companies’ development in unstable market environment including transformation of the existing systems for assessing key performance indicators (KPIs) and improvement of the efficiency of creation of programs for innovative development and research funding within the integrated value chain. In the monograph we present a number of theoretical and practical recommendations that will contribute to a balance in the development of financial, production and research activities of domestic oil companies and, ultimately, to ensuring their long-term competitiveness in the harsh climate of global competition. The monograph is based on the results of the research work of professors and undergraduates of Ufa branch of the FSBU VO “Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation” on the university-wide theme “Sustainable development of Russia in the face of global changes”. The monograph is recommended for using in the training process in the magistracy, and for researchers, experts in corporate governance and other stakeholders.
