Abstract:
The development of the investment-construction complex in the Republic of Tatarstan is characterized by stability and sustainability against external factors. One of the reasons for such success is the implementation of a considerable amount of target programs of residential construction and infrastructure projects. At the same time, the structure of housing stock in the region is not diverse, which is not the case in the mature economies. Social and rental housing are almost completely absent, while non-profit housing unions of citizens are mentioned only in the defined targets. The conclusions are mostly based on expert assessments and own practical experiencе and demonstrate that alternative forms of residential housing organization are not sufficient, and housing stock is not diverse enough. The obtained conclusions may be useful for the experts in this field that are engaged in development and implementation of the measures of residential housing policy.
