The article analyzes the causes of the concept of fair price in the historical aspect in the economic teachings of different schools and religions. The history of economic studies shows that the problem of security in ancient times, since pre-Christian times, for example, in ancient philosophy was considered as a problem of the relationship between security and economic and political relations, and an attempt was made to reveal its role in public life. The authors on the basis of economic pre-Christian teachings, early Christian, Muslim sources reveal the concept of" fair price", and present a new reading of the history of economic doctrines, which can help overcome the difficulties that have arisen since the beginning of price liberalization and continue on the way to the current state of economic development, in overcoming permanent barriers, such as inflation, falling incomes, reducing GDP growth, unrealistic Bank interest.
