Abstract:
The article discusses options for Creative Commons licenses application, including the business environment. Attention is focused on the problem of copyright. The article analyzes the mechanism of application of the legislation in the Russian Federation in relation to the Internet materials authors. Intellectual property protection tools are offered. Statistical data from open sources are used for analysis. The author comes to the conclusion that Creative Commons licenses will eventually become more popular in Russia if the issue of their use is clearly regulated at the legislative level.
