Abstract:
Since the beginning of the XXI century, information and communication technologies (ICT) have become a powerful lever for accelerating technological progress, and, consequently, economic growth. ICTs are now increasingly influencing macroeconomic processes. According to the dynamics of the structure of GDP, the development of industries actively using ICT is advancing. The volume of services provided through Digital Solutions Industry 4.0, available on the market today, is growing particularly fast. The purpose of this article is to identify the reasons that hinder the spread of ICT services in the field of maintenance and operation of infrastructure facilities and the development of proposals to stimulate the development of the market in this segment. On the basis of the proposed solution, in addition to the direct positive macroeconomic effect, the impact of the development of ICT services at the microeconomic level is analyzed by the example of advantages for the subjects of the housing and utilities sector.
