Abstract:
Purpose: on the basis of modern studies, the specificity and regularity of the influence of the institution of corporate citizenship on the economic growth of large industrial structures has been studied. Materials and methods: the methodological basis of this article is research on the institute of corporate citizenship, as well as the specifics and laws of its influence on the economic growth of large industrial structures. In this article, applied methods such as analysis and synthesis, systematization and comparison. Results: this article defines the role and importance of corporate citizenship, as well as the specificity and regularity of the influence of corporate citizenship on the economic growth of large industrial structures. Conclusions: initially emerging as a voluntary initiative, now the concept of corporate citizenship is beginning to be perceived as an essential attribute of good business conduct. Being one of the stakeholders, the state is interested in stimulating socially responsible business behavior. The degree of state intervention in the sphere of corporate citizenship may depend on the established type of leadership in the country. Rules-based leadership is characterized by greater transparency, independent justice, and a high level of public trust, while relations-based leadership have less transparency and a low level of public trust. In such a context, the problem of state influence on the implementation of corporate citizenship policies by enterprises becomes relevant. The findings and research results can be used when introducing the concept of corporate citizenship for the economic growth of large industrial structures.
