Abstract:
In modern Russia, the issue of development of small and medium-sized trade organizations is very actual. This article describes the features of small and medium-sized commercial enterprises, the classification of methods to improve the efficiency of their activities, as well as the most common methods of performance evaluation. The conditions for the development of the digital economy also determine the high potential of the use of telecommunication opportunities, in particular – the potential of social networks. Thus, the article deals with innovative methods of assessing the effectiveness of trading activities in modern conditions.
