Abstract:
Self-sufficiency of the Sverdlovsk region with milk and dairy products is considered. The reasons for containing the rates of achievement of food safety indicators for milk and dairy products are analyzed. A comparative analysis of milk production in the Sverdlovsk Region, the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Republic of Bashkortostan is conducted. Measures of state support of agricultural commodity producers in the Sverdlovsk region, the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Republic of Bashkortostan are compared. The average price for the sale of raw milk is cited in the Sverdlovsk Region, the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Republic of Bashkortostan. The relationship between the subsidy rates per kilogram of cow's milk sold and (or) shipped for own processing, the average purchase prices for raw milk and the situation of local agricultural producers in the dairy market of the Sverdlovsk region is investigated. Methods of preventing deterioration of the situation of Sverdlovsk milk producers are considered. There are proposed ways to accelerate the achievement of food safety indicators for milk and dairy products in the Sverdlovsk region.
